Overview - Buy Smart, Profit More!
NAWLA’s Buyers’ School is designed by NAWLA members, and the industry specific curriculum is intended to promote a state-of-the-art business climate for attendees. The School is designed for individuals in the lumber, millwork and building materials industries who are involved in buying, sales, inside sales or management within their respective firms, or those who will be in the near future. Attend this 3 ½ - day School to become a savvy "buying professional."

The Buyers’ School begins with two days of instruction on Supply Chain Management and Negotiations. The School continues with a half-day session on transportation and logistics presented by a panel of industry experts followed by concurrent sessions on inventory management and hedging tactics. The School then closes with a ½-day session on Ethics in Business. The School features a carefully selected and reviewed curriculum and a line-up of highly qualified instructors who have been hand-selected by the NAWLA Education Committee. Participants will learn through a variety of interactive teaching methods, three industry specific case studies, role playing, lecture and round table discussions.
