David Bubser Regional Manager, SMARTWOOD
Dave received a B.S. degree in Forest Resource Management from the University of Idaho in 1983. Dave spent two years with the United States Forest Service in north Idaho. He then spent five years managing the 232,000 acre forest of the Menominee Tribe of Wisconsin where he held several positions responsible for silviculture, forest development, and timber harvest preparation. Since joining SMARTWOOD in 1999 as manager of the Mid-Atlantic Region, Dave has managed the Northern United States and is currently the United States Manager for SMARTWOOD, located in Northfield, MN. Prior to coming to SMARTWOOD, Dave had 16 years of "on the ground" forest management experience, primarily with tribal forestry operations in the United States.
