2017 traders market

November 8-10, 2017
Hyatt Regency | Chicago, Ill.

The 2017 Traders Market will take place November 8-10, at The Hyatt Regency in Chicago, Ill. Since 1996, Traders Market has held a unique position among lumber and building material tradeshows as t he only one focused almost exclusively on the lumber supply chain. Unlike other shows, the exhibitors are almost always manufacturers of lumber and lumber-related products, not machinery or other equipment providers.

No other lumber tradeshow provides this under one roof. No other show provides better value, if you want to sell a lumber product, find new suppliers, or expand your networks.

This year's keynote speaker is former NFL star Merril Hoge. He will talk about perseverance in the face of adversity and strategies for overcoming obstacles to achieve your goals. Merril is sure to get you pumped up for two days of buying and selling on the show floor.

Alex Goldfayn, CEO of the Evangelist Marketing Institute and author of The Revenue Growth Habit, will be leading Thursday's educational session. Alex will detail 10 growth behaviors which you can start implementing as soon as you get back to your desk.

The 2016 Traders Market attracted nearly 1,600 attendees, a 6.5% increase over the 2015 event in Dallas, Texas, and exceeded goals for sponsor and exhibitor sales.

Below is feedback from just a few of those 2016 attendees:

  • “The contacts we meet and the ability to introduce our products to wholesalers all at one venue is invaluable,” said Ted Whitehouse, Director of Business Development for Century Aluminum Railings.
  • “The networking opportunity provides a return that is priceless,” said Eric Quackenbush, a trader with Viking Forest Products.
  • “Meeting customers/potential customers face-to-face in invaluable,” said KayCee Halstrom of Zip-O-Log Mills. “Doing newsletters and announcements has been positive, but it still can't beat the face-to-face interaction.”

Don’t miss the opportunity to experience this one-of-a-kind event in 2017. Registration is now open!
